“So let me get this straight, you want to be apart of this mission Jordan? Well I don’t see any problem with that. It sounds good enough to me. We need all the help we can get on this mission, take a seat,” Robert said, and I let go of Jordan’s hand long enough to resume my seat in the chair I’d been in earlier when I came in. Jordan sat in the chair next to it, but I made no moves to take his hand again because that was our thing and we didn’t need to do it in front of the other members of the team.
“I was talking to Gwen about our mission. In Port Charles, there’s a man named Walter Dupree, a US Banker that’s using counterfeit currency to finance his investments, and he’s made a deal with Jim Banks to pass the counterfeit money that might destroy the economy in our country. Our mission is to put him out of business for good and recover the stolen printing plates he is using to make the counterfeits. Now Gwen and I had some ideas but I want to hear your thoughts on how to handle this,” Robert continued, and I looked over at Jordan, reading in his eyes that he thought Robert to be testing him.
Jordan spoke and I listened animatedly as he talked about knowing some of the people in the case. “I know those names and something of their business. You're right, if they go unchecked, that would be a disaster for this country and potentially for the world,” he said, and I continued to listen. Yes, we did work with the men Jordan and Robert are talking about, because Jordan and I have been undercover as Mitchell and Charlotte Andrews. Charlotte is Mitchell’s newest “toy”, but she was his accomplice while he was getting a divorce from his first wife, Francesca Butler.
“Fortunately, our bureau had recently busted a man named Mitchell Andrews. He is here out of Britain with the intention of doing business with these men. Its our good luck that he prefers to keep himself a shadow, so to speak, so he's careful about not being photographed and, according to our Intel, he was on his way to meet Dupree for the first time to discuss dealings with him. Perhaps I could take on Andrews' identity and take that meeting that way we have Gwen on the inside on a personal level and I would be there on the business side. We'd have him surrounded, so to speak,” Jordan continued, and I nodded at this then spoke up. “And when we did the undercover work before, I went undercover as Mitchell Andrews’ accomplice and second wife, Charlotte, who he referred to often as his “toy”,” I told Robert. “I can try doing that again, or just working to get close to Dupree. It’s up to you boys, so take your pick.”

“I think that would be a great and we can go with that. While you two were talking I called the lab here at the WSB Office of Special Projects about making our own fake batch of counterfeit money. It will make him think that he has the real money, but Dupree doesn’t. The fake batch of counterfeit money will be stained into unreadable fakes”,I said to both of them.

I smiled as I heard Gwen share the story of the Mitchell case. We had worked together and done so brilliantly. I watched for Scorpio's reaction to the story.

I listened to what Robert had to say and nodded slowly. "Yeah, that sounds good. If the money looks TOO fresh, they could tend to get suspicious of it. Good call there, Scorpio. I think that our working together is going to make a good team. Gwen and I are very comfortable teaming up on undercover jobs and I feel good about working with you as well. Hopefully this is the start of a very good working relationship...and who knows, perhaps a friendship, too. You seem like a good guy and I'm glad to have met you, today", I told him and turned to Gwen. "Do you have anything to add, Agent Matthews?" I asked her, knowing that we were going to be a hell of a team. Scorpio seemed very solid and I knew how good Gwen was...and knew her well which helped things. I was looking forward to us all working as a team together.

“Do you have anything to add, Agent Matthews?” Jordan asked, turning to look at me, and I was like, What the frostbite?! What happened to Gwen or Gidget? He uses either of those names, and sometimes Gwennie…But he didn’t today, which I thought was weird. “Nope, nothing to add,” I said with a smile, turning to Robert. “Agent Scorpio, I look forward to working with you on this case.”

“I look forward to working with the both of you on this case. The undercover work sounds perfect but always to remain careful so Dupree won’t see anything fishy or suspicious. Now if you guys excuse me, I’m going to head down to the lab to discuss the mission. You two can discuss more about our case and thank you” I said to them as I got up and shook their hands. After that I went to the lab.
Exit Robert
(OOC: Tami, Katie, if you guys want to continue the thread that’s fine but Robert left, so yeah)

I gave my attention to Gwen as she told Agent Scorpio that she had nothing to add but looked forward to working with him. I smiled over at her and knew that this was something we would do well together...working undercover. We knew each other better than any other agents possibly could and we'd have each other's backs better as well. I gave her a wink and then turned my attention back to agent Scorpio.

"Sounds good, Agent Scorpio. Thank you. We'll put together our gameplan and, of course, fill you in on the details that you may need to know", I told him and stood to shake his hand. As he left, I turned to Gwen and smiled at her. "Well, sweetheart, it looks like the unbeatable duo is working together again. I can't wait to start working with you on this. We'll have this guy under wraps in no time", I told her as I took her hand, guided her to her feet and then wrapped my arms around her waist, holding her close to me. "Feel up to getting some lunch and maybe spending the rest of the day together? Maybe strategize a bit? Maybe...not?" I asked with a smile before leaning to her and giving her a nuzzle just how she liked it.

“That sounds good, Agent Scorpio. Thank you. We'll put together our game plan and, of course, fill you in on the details that you may need to know," he said, and I watched as my current boss stood up to shake the hand of my new boss. This is what I lived for…seeing the people most important to me getting along. I also watched Robert leave, and knew he was heading down to the lab.
After he was gone, Jordan turned to me with a smile. “Well, sweetheart, it looks like the unbeatable duo is working together again. I can't wait to start working with you on this. “Mm, I like that idea…Why not do both?”
I smiled at her as she agreed to dinner with me and touched my cheek. I took her face in both of my hands, leaned down and kissed her deeply and lingeringly. She was so important to me. We were partners and so much more. This woman in front of me also owned my heart. After kissing her, I slowly broke off and backed up a bit. I looked down into her beautiful face, into those lovely eyes and softly, slowly caressed her cheekbones with my thumbs. I knew more and more with each passing day that I was thinking of wanting to share my life with her.
"How about something special today, hmm? Does the Metro Court sound good to you, sweetheart?" I asked her with a smile, knowing that the Metro Court was the best place in town.
OOC: Sorry so short on the post...I was a little stumped...LOL

His smile drew me under his spell once again as I agreed to dinner with him and touched his cheek. He took my face in both of my hands, leaned down and kissed me deeply and lingeringly. He was so important to me. We were partners and so much more. This man in front of me also owned my heart. After kissing me, he slowly broke off and backed up a bit. I looked up into his handsome face, into those lovely eyes and tried not to swoon as he softly, slowly caressed my cheekbones with his thumbs. I knew more and more with each passing day that I was thinking of wanting to share my life with him.
“How about something special today, hmm? Does the Metro Court sound good to you, sweetheart?” he asked, and I smiled, trying to suppress from giggling. “That sounds good to me,” I replied. I reached up and pulled one hand away from my face, then threaded our fingers together as I pulled him out the door.
Before I did, though, I decided I’d leave a note for Robert, to let him know where I was going and to call if he needed anything, before I rejoined Jordan in the lobby and we walked out together, hand in hand.
(OOC: That’s okay, we can end the thread now!)
