It’s a new day here in Port Charles as I arrive at the WSB Office of Special Projects, parking my car and tuning off the engine, then I get out with my stuff as I walk into the building. Since coming back to Port Charles, I feel that everything is going in the right direction. Me and Robin have been able to talk and catch up on everything, which is really something to feel so proud about. During the whole time when I wasn’t there for her all those years hurt her and she had every right to not only be upset at me but at her mother Anna too, same thing goes for Mac. We had a job to do but we weren’t there for her when she was sick, which me and Anna regret a lot. But hey, that’s the past and this is the now. As I walk into the building I greet the other agents and staff workers, who’ve busted their butts, who’ve worked so hard to get here. The WSB is the best thing going on still to this day and despite the faults , I love working for WSB. If it wasn’t for them and for people like my dear friend Sean Donnelly or Anna, I would be the police commissioner of PC back in the mid 80’s and beginning 90’s or private investigator. The WSB is my heart and soul, it’s the one that makes me fight for more, the thrill of adventure so to speak.
Before I enter my office I ask my secretary, Tami, about my schedule and what’s planned. She tells me that I have a meeting with someone new, and not only is this person a FBI Agent but also a WSB Liaison Officer ; her name is Gwendolyn Leigh Matthews. The purpose of this meeting is to get to know her more and what she’ll bring to the plate and brief her in on the first mission we’ll be working on together as a team. Before I leave, I tell Tami that if Gwen comes by, call me when she does. I go into the office, closing the door behind me as I sit down at my desk and turn on the computer. After entering my password, the computer loads with everything coming up. I check my e-mail on my WSB account because that’s work related unlike Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, etc., which is entertainment mail in my view. There are no new e-mails except for two and that’s one from the WSB Director about the new case and another one from this guy name Jordan Crenshaw, the head of the FBI special branch of The Protectors. This is about Gwendolyn as I read this email first and this guy tells me everything about her life, the missions she’s been on, etc.
But I wonder, does this guy have a crush of Gwen? I mean from what I read, he always praises her, which is more like Jordan loves her and all. That would be funny but understandable because once a man see’s the caliber and accomplishments of a woman, he becomes attractive to her. This Jordan guy has the hotts for Gwen as a grin came to my face. But that faded once my phone rang and it was Tami. “Yes Tami..yes……bring her in…..thank you”, I said as I hanged up the phone, the door opened and there she was I stood up, smiling at her. “Hello there Gwen, I’m Special Agent In Charge, Robert Fredrick Scorpio. Most people call me Robert or Robbie, but you can call me whatever you like to. Have a seat and let me get you something to drink? ”, I said as I went over to the convertible water dispenser, filling a cup with water, then another one as I give it to Gwendolyn and we took out seats. ”First off, let me say welcome to the WSB Office of Special Projects. This is a clandestine division of World Security Bureau and is located here in Port Charles. As I said before I am the Special Agent In Charge of our soon to be Major Case Response Team. Right now it’s just you and me but there will be two more people joining us. Do you have any questions so for Gwen?”, I ask her as I take a sip of my water, waiting for her to answer.

After leaving Kelly’s Diner, I left the guy’s side long enough to head over to the WSB Office of Special Projects. Once I had finished drinking the replaced coffee, I was nearly halfway to my new “home office” when I felt my cell phone vibrating in my purse. Even as an FBI agent, I still preferred to carry a purse like every normal female.
Pressing my finger to the phone, I looked and saw that I had an email from Jordan. He wanted to wish me luck on my new job, which I thought was sweet, and hoped to see me soon. I wrote back a response and sent it, then found myself right outside the WSB Office. I pulled open the door as hard as I could, but tried not to break it, then headed inside.
I moved up to the receptionist’s desk and asked her to buzz me into Robert Scorpio’s office. “Yes Tami…yes……bring her in…..thank you,” I heard him say through the phone, and she pointed to the first door, which I walked over to and opened, greeted by the dazzling smile of the silver-haired fox behind the desk.
“Hello there Gwen, I’m Special Agent in Charge, Robert Fredrick Scorpio. Most people call me Robert or Robbie, but you can call me whatever you like to. Have a seat and can I get you something to drink?” he said, and when he asked about the drink, I shook my head no. “I’ve already had some coffee this morning, but thank you for the offer, Robert,” I replied, knowing I was going to like it here in Port Charles.
“First off, let me say welcome to the WSB Office of Special Projects. This is a clandestine division of World Security Bureau and is located here in Port Charles. As I said before I am the Special Agent in Charge of our soon to be Major Case Response Team. Right now it’s just you and me but there will be two more people joining us. Do you have any questions so for Gwen?” he said, and like before, when he asked if I had any questions, I shook my head no. “I’m just looking forward to the first case, but I guess we won’t be getting into that right away, will we?” I asked.
While in the FBI, I was eager for each new case that crossed our desks, but here, I knew it was going to be a slow progression. And it made me miss Jordan even more, even though we had sworn to keep our relationship a secret from the rest of our group of tight-knit agents.

“I’m just looking forward to the first case, but I guess we won’t be getting into that right away, will we?” , she asked as I smirked. This young woman cut right to the chase about the case we’ll be taking on and that’s a good sign. It shows that she knows everything about the business of being an agent, a spy. Gwendolyn has the experience, being on so many missions, completing them. I guess Jordan knows her way too well but something is still on my mind….are these two dating still? Do they have feelings for one another? Anyway, back to the matter at hand. “Well first let me just say that I like what you just said, getting to the issue, which is the case. Smart Gwen, very smart” , I said to her as I took a sip of my water and I put it down so I can continue to talk to the female agent. “Also Jordan Crenshaw, the head of the FBI special branch e-mailed me and said everything about you, the accomplishments, everything. I’m impressed to be honest” , I said to her giving the agent a grin before I continue to speak. “Now it’s the moment you and I have been waiting for. Our first case that we’ll be working on together as a team. Let me look at the e-mail from the WSB director and print it out. It has the case”, I said as I saw the e-mail on my computer and printed out.
I walked over the printer and took out the papers that had the case on them. Then I walk over the copier machine and make copies for Gwen. After that’s done I get out a folder, putting the copies of the case in there, giving it to Gwen so she can see it for herself. I sit down and get our another folder so that I can put the papers I have in the folder. "Alright our first case. In Port Charles , there’s a man named Walter Dupree, a US Banker that’s using counterfeit currency to finance his investments, and he’s made a deal with Jim Banks to pass the counterfeit money that might destroy the economy in our country. Our mission is to put him out of business for good and recover the stolen printing plates he is using to make the counterfeits”, I said as I put down the folder with the papers in and take a swag of my water. Now that im done reading our case, not im more excited and can’t wait to start. “So Gwen, now that we looked over the case, do you have any way of dealing with this first hand? It won’t be easy because from reading the file, our friend Walter has a tricks up his sleeves, maybe even people working with him in the background. Were have to watch out for anything he comes up with”, I said to her as this will be interesting to see how she works with me.

“Well first let me just say that I like what you just said, getting to the issue, which is the case. Smart Gwen, very smart,” he said with a smile, and I returned it. “Wellllll, I usually don’t ask about the case firsthand,” I replied, “but I suppose I’m just a little eager to get started.”
“Also Jordan Crenshaw, the head of the FBI special branch e-mailed me and said everything about you, the accomplishments, everything. I’m impressed to be honest,” he told me, and I felt the butterflies return. “Jordan is proud of me,” I told Robert. “He thinks I’m going to do well here in Port Charles.” Uh-oh, Gwen, I told myself. You’re revealing too much about your “personal” relationship with Jordan…stop while you’re ahead!
“Now it’s the moment you and I have been waiting for. Our first case that we’ll be working on together as a team. Let me look at the e-mail from the WSB director and print it out. It has the case,” he said, pulling it up on his desk computer then printing it out and handing me one copy while he took the other copy.
"Alright our first case. In Port Charles , there’s a man named Walter Dupree, a US Banker that’s using counterfeit currency to finance his investments, and he’s made a deal with Jim Banks to pass the counterfeit money that might destroy the economy in our country. Our mission is to put him out of business for good and recover the stolen printing plates he is using to make the counterfeits,” he continued, and I knew I’d found a real case that I liked. Some of the cases that we got while in The Protectors were basically helping protect ordinary people who get threatened.
“So Gwen, now that we looked over the case, do you have any way of dealing with this first hand? It won’t be easy because from reading the file, our friend Walter has a few tricks up his sleeves, maybe even people working with him in the background. We’ll have to watch out for anything he comes up with,” Robert finished, and I nodded when he asked if I was going to make this case my first priority. “Don’t worry, Robert,” I replied. “While I’m new in Port Charles, I won’t be getting distracted. None of the family that I have left even knows I’m here, and my boss/confidant is in another city, so you won’t have to worry about me.”

None of the family that I have left even knows I’m here, and my boss/confidant is in another city, so you won’t have to worry about me” , she said to me and I knew that someone Jordan and Gwen had known each other. Maybe not publicly but in in private. I shouldn’t be getting into people’s other business. “Good to hear Gwen because WSB and here at the WSB Office of Special Projects we have a very important rule forbidding agents from marrying each other, along with a protocol known as "Black Box. A Black Box would be initiated against bureau operative, when they have become a security risk and must be terminated, so that’s very important to remember. I know you wouldn‘t do something like that, but just giving you a heads up”, I said to her and I was one of those people, alongside Anna who made that mistake. I mean we were in love with each other and couldn’t wait to get out of the WSB to start our lives.
That’s when Anna was a double agent working for the DVX, and everything from that point changed our lives from good to bad. We both regretted what the two of us did, as a lesson is to be learned ; do NOT marry in the spy business. “Back to the case at hand, do you have any ideas on how to handle it? I want to hear what you have to say. We may have different opinions or ideas " , I said to her.

I calmed down a little bit by remembering to take deep, slow breaths. Done with that, I turned my attention back to Robert. “Back to the case at hand, do you have any ideas on how to handle it? I want to hear what you have to say. We may have different opinions or ideas,” he told me, and I began to rack my brain. Looking down at the print-out, I let my eyes scan the page until I found something useful. “Okay, what about this?” I asked, pointing to the bottom of the page. “It says here that he adores having mistresses. Maybe I could go undercover as one of them?”

“Okay, what about this? “It says here that he adores having mistresses. Maybe I could go undercover as one of them?” , she asks as I look at the bottom of the page and she’s right. Our man named Walter Dupree does have a habit of falling in love with the ladies and he’s married at the same time. That isn’t good for the wife ,who’s blind enough and must be a fool to fall in love for this crook, this thief that’s trying to ruin our economy. I look back up at Gwen and smile at her, she has great ideas and that’s what im looking for in an agent, someone who has ideas that may or may not work. “Not bad Gwen, I like that but you have to be distract him long enough so that I can go in and find the REAL printing plates. That way once I find them, then they can be stored somewhere safe so that no one or no thing can get to it. But there’s also another trick to the mission” , I said to Gwen as I had something slick up my sleeve, one that can counter Dupree into believing that other counterfeit money is his, but isn’t. “I can call the WSB Office of Special Project lab that we have here later on today and tell them to come up with our OWN fake batch of counterfeit money. Walter won’t know what hit him”, I said as we’ve come up with a plan of our own to take down Dupree, so he wont see this coming.
“So let’s be clear about what plan is. Once we go to where Dupree lives in Port Charles, you’ll be his mistress as undercover. In the meanwhile, you’ll distract him long enough so that I can get the real counterfeit money. It won’t be easy but we WILL prevail and put Dupree out of business for good”, I assured her and we won’t quit until we do because this guy could costs the rest of this country the hard work that we’ve done, getting our economy back on track. He doesn’t deserve to be a US banker but how? How did he become one? By cheating? Getting ahead of others? Who knows but the bottom line here is that Dupree won’t get away, he won’t keep screwing us in the ass from time to time. “So if you have last minute questions about our mission, then now is the time”, I said as I finished my cup of water and put it down on my desk, waiting for Gwen to speak.

That way once I find them, then they can be stored somewhere safe so that no one or no thing can get to it. But there’s also another trick to the mission,” he says, and I lean forward to listen. Jordan often told me that I was full of ideas and was a great listener, so that’s why he picked me firsthand for the team of agents we were in.
“I can call the WSB Office of Special Project lab that we have here later on today and tell them to come up with our OWN fake batch of counterfeit money. Walter won’t know what hit him,” he continued, and I nodded attentively. “No, he certainly won’t,” I replied with a smile.

“So if you have last minute questions about our mission, then now is the time,” he concludes, and I’m shaking, but know I need to know if it’s safe to be undercover. “But you don’t think it’s too risky for me to go undercover? I mean, I’ve only done it a few times, and whenever I did, it’s been few & far between.”

I had gotten word that Gwen was having her first meeting with the WSB and Robert Scorpio. I had no idea what the mission was yet but I knew that as her boss at the FBI, I do feel that I have some right to know what is going on. I headed over to the office of the WSB. I arrived and stopped at the desk to let the secretary know I was there and that I'd like to speak with both Agent Scorpio and Gwen. I sat down in a chair in the lobby and waited patiently as she went in and announced me. To be honest, I was concerned over what cover Gwen was going to use on this mission, knowing that the WSB often had their agents go undercover. I listened as the secretary told Agent Scorpio and Gwen that I was out in the lobby waiting for them.

“Well sometimes it varies but this time it wont be just you and me. Since you asked that question, there’ll be other WSB agents. They’ll help you and everything so don’t worry about it because together we can win this thing,” he said, and I nodded in understanding.
As Robert and I were discussing my going undercover as one of Dupree’s mistresses, the secretary interrupted and let us know that there was another visitor waiting in the lobby. Since I hadn’t heard from Jordan since I came to New York, I had gotten worried, but brushed it off as he was on a job.
But what I was not expecting was to see him sitting in the lobby of the WSB office. I’m trying hard to keep my cool during this case, and running out into Jordan’s arms was not going to help me right now. Of course, I looked at Robert so I wouldn’t be the typical “girlfriend”. “Excuse me, but I’ll be right back,” I told him honestly. “I need to use the bathroom.”
Turning to the secretary, I asked, “Do you know where the restrooms are?” “Yes, they’re just down the hall and to the left,” she replied, pointing. Since she had the door partially closed, Robert couldn’t see what I was about to do.
I shut the door behind me, and didn’t rush up to Jordan, but I walked briskly up to him. “Jordan, I didn’t think you’d be here,” I said honestly, and it was the truth. “You’re not checking up on me, are you? Because you didn’t have to come all this way to do that.”

I looked up as I heard Gwen come out of the office. I saw how she was working to keep control. I was doing the same. We both understood that it wouldn't do us any good to expose or relationship...for now. She looked amazing. I smiled at her as I stood up but kept myself cool just as she was.
"Oh, I might have wanted to make sure you were ok. After all, you are one of my top agents...and then some", I told her in a low tone. "How are things going with Agent Scorpio. All is going well I hope?" I asked her. "And hopefully not TOO complicated a mission. We need you back at the bureau as soon as you can return. No pressure, of course", I told her slyly. "Anything you can share about your mission that won't get you into trouble with Agent Scorpio?"

“Oh, I might have wanted to make sure you were ok. After all, you are one of my top agents...and then some,” he said softly, and while I hated not having the comfort of his arms around me, the new case came first. “Jordan, I don’t mind you being worried about me,” I said with a small smile. Why did he have to be so tempting?! “But you should have called first. Not that I don’t appreciate you being here. And who’s handling things while you’re gone?”
“How are things going with Agent Scorpio? All is going well I hope?” he asked, and I nodded eagerly. “Everything’s going great, Jordan. I like the new case we’re working on.”
“And hopefully not TOO complicated a mission. We need you back at the bureau as soon as you can return. No pressure, of course,” he said, and I smiled. “Do you all miss me that much already?” I teased.
“Anything you can share about your mission that won't get you into trouble with Agent Scorpio?” he asked, and I was about to refuse, but nodded instead. “Well, I’m about to go undercover as a “mistress” so I can distract the man involved in our case.”

“Jordan, I don’t mind you being worried about me, But you should have called first. Not that I don’t appreciate you being here. And who’s handling things while you’re gone?”
"Sure I could have called first and I probably should have. I'm sorry about that. I honestly acted on impulse and just left the office and came up here. Forgive me? And don't worry about the office. Things are quiet today so there's no urgent need for me to be there right now." I asked her and gave her a charming smile, knowing she could never resist it.
“Everything’s going great, Jordan. I like the new case we’re working on. Do you all miss me that much already?”
"I'm glad everything is going well and I'm guessing you're getting along well with him. Of course I miss you already, Gwen. That's not even a question. I like to hope that you miss me as well.", I told her. I truly was glad she and Scorpio were getting along well. Not TOO well, I hoped. Yes, I was a little jealous as I'd heard Scorpio could be quite a charmer when he put his mind to it. I wouldn't put up with it and so far it seemed like he hasn't put the charm on her yet so no harm no foul . Of course, I absolutely hated the next words that came out of her mouth.
“Well, I’m about to go undercover as a “mistress” so I can distract the man involved in our case.”
When she told me what her undercover assignment was, I frowned deeply at her. I hated that kind of assignment for her. I hated for her to use her body and her sexuality that way. There would have to be another way for her to work undercover without having to get that close to the suspect. "Gwen, there has to be another way you can investigate this. I don't like the idea at all.", I told her knowing it was a combination of being worried for her and being jealous. I hated any man getting THAT close to her.

“I'm glad everything is going well and I'm guessing you're getting along well with him. Of course I miss you already, Gwen. That's not even a question. But we have to be discreet, you know that right? The new case comes first for me right now.”
“Gwen, there has to be another way you can investigate this. I don't like the idea at all.” he said, his smile turning to a frown. I turned away from that face…the one that grew into concern, whenever I was about to do something bad, and he didn’t want me doing it. “Jordan, don’t start. I don’t want you talking me out of going undercover. Every other time I have, you didn’t mind it, but now you’re going to have to deal with it.”

Me and Gwen continued to talk about the mission. “But you don’t think it’s too risky for me to go undercover? I mean, I’ve only done it a few times, and whenever I did, it’s been few & far between.” she asked me and that was a good question Gwen asked and I shrugged my shoulders before answering. “ Well sometimes it varies but this time it wont be just you and me. Since you asked that question, there’ll be other WSB agents. They’ll help you and everything so don’t worry about it because together we can win this thing” I said as the secretary comes in saying that there was a visitor waiting in the lobby and I wondered who it was. I wasn’t expecting someone else but who was it? Jordan? I mean I know this guy is the head of the special branch here in Port Charles but come on now. This isn’t the FBI or the so called “Protectors”, this is the WSB Office of Special Projects, the affiliate of the World Security Bureau. In my view, it’s the best agency in the world and nothing can change it. Gwen told me she needed to use the restroom and I nodded my head. As she left I did some work to call the other agents and inform them on the mission.
After making all the calls I hanged up my phone and wondered what took Gwen so long. She told me she needed to go to the bathroom but was something stopping her? I decided to go outside to see what was going on. As I got up from my desk, I walked outside and saw Gwen talking to someone else. It was a man, but was it…Jordan? Time for me to get to the bottom of this. I walk up to them. “Excuse me but is everything alright? You must be Jordan Crenshaw, I’m Robert Scorpio, Special Agent In Charge. How can I help you?” I asked and I hope this man isn’t wasting Gwen’s time
