This girl's a bad one. She's rebellious, confident - or at least puts on the persona that she is, and sexy. She's the more tomboyish one out of the two, though still considerably girly. Alex is the bartender; her sister is the stripper. She likes to be in control and get her way. She loves to party and have a good time. She's stubborn, and relentless. She doesn't like rules, and she especially doesn't care for following them. She's up for anything that helps her forget how broken she really is. Some days she replays the verbal abuse from her mother and actually believes it. She's a fighter. She refuses to let anyone walk all over her anymore and she'll do whatever it is necessary to prevent that.

Alexandra Michaela Corinthos is the eldest twin daughter of the deceased Anastasia Andrews, and Michael Corinthos Sr. Raised by her mother, Alex was given the middle name Michaela for the man Anastasia always hoped would come back. She hadn't exactly come to terms with the fact that the gambling obsessed man never stayed anywhere for too long. Anastasia spent much of her time working to provide for them, leaving the girls to their own devices from a relatively young age. Without a father, the two girls became particularly rebellious; so rebellious in fact that Anastasia just couldn't take it anymore. She had never gotten over Mike, and she was driven to the bottle from the frustration of all the work and two teenage girls who wouldn't listen and were in that stage where they despise their mother. She became an alcoholic - and a bad one. She would slap the two girls around on her particularly bad nights; mostly Alex, the eldest. When they were younger, they just took it; the physical and the verbal abuse. They didn't have much of an idea of what a regular home looked like.

As they got older, their lives simply involved partying while she was out, drinking, the occasional smoking. Once they turned nineteen, that was the end of it. Alex and Anastasia got into a bad verbal sparring match, which slowly escalated into punches being thrown at Alex's face, leaving her with a black eye. Alex had had enough and tried to fight back with everything she had until their mother came at them with a knife. Luckily, the two got out of there unscathed. They had heard talk of their father living in Port Charles once upon a time, and so they decided to seek him out. After all, what else could they do? Now that they've arrived in Port Charles, nothing is going to be as they expected. They'll meet siblings they didn't know they had, and come to find out that their father has disappeared once again. Their brother, Sonny, will take them into his home, and who knows what kind of clashing will happen then.

ROLE PLAY SAMPLE ♥

Alexandra walked into the The Coffee House solo, feeling her body temperature shift from cold to warm. She ran a hand through her hair, shaking it out gently as she surveyed the place. Alex and her twin sister had arrived in Port Charles an hour or so ago and were already on a mission to find their father. It wasn't a want but a need, as they really didn't have much of a choice. After their mother had brought out the knife, the two nineteen year old girls booked it, and they certainly wouldn't go back to that place. So, here they were. No money, no place to go; just riding the hope that they would find their dear old dad and he would be willing to help them out. Then again, they really didn't know if their father even knew about them in the first place, but I guess that was something they would just have to figure out. Reaching her hand up to her face, she gently touched her eye and flinched a little from the pain. She had covered it as best she could with makeup, but she knew you could still see small remnants of black and purple. Normally, she could put on an incredibly good act of complete and total confidence, but it was a little harder when you had the obvious mark of being beat up displayed on her face for all the world to see. She just hoped no one asked; it was none of their business, and she just wanted to forget what had happened. Perhaps this place would bring about a fresh start. Oh, who was she kidding? She just wanted a place to live, money, and a father who won't try to get in her way of living a life without rules. She was perfectly content with being parent-less, because that's how things were going to be.

She turned around and looked in the reflection of the glass, checking to make sure that her touch hadn't made it even more noticeable. Luckily it hadn't, and so she turned back around to focus on the task at hand. Her sister was off checking another location their father apparently could be at, and this was her place to check out. Walking over to the counter, she glanced upon the menu. It was freezing outside, and she could really go for a hot coffee. She then remembered, however, that she had no money whatsoever and there was really nothing that should stall her any longer. That was exactly what she was doing. She hadn't known her father for the entirety of her life; nineteen long years. She had always thought about him, what he was like, what he looked like even. She didn't know how she was going to react when the two were face to face. What if he was like her mother? What if he didn't want to help and just wanted nothing to do with them? Then the two girls would really be left on their own, and they didn't have a back up plan after this one. "Can I help you? The barista asked her, giving her a polite smile. Alex pressed a returning smile to her lips for a moment before it faded. "Hi, yes. Do you know where I can find Michael Corinthos Sr., please? I was told this was where to look."
